I had a lovely stay where I enjoyed a comfortable room and received great service, which made my trip relaxing and enjoyable, and I appreciated the nearby River Nidd Waterside Walk, perfect for scenic strolls and blending nature with the remarkable local sights like Plumpton Rocks just under almost 4 km away.

The gardens were beautiful, and our evening meal was delicious. The desserts were a highlight!

The culinary experience was exceptional, with both dinner and breakfast surpassing expectations. a shoutout to the chef for the wonderfully crafted meals, especially the steak and pork pie. The welcoming atmosphere created by the staff made our stay truly special.

The shower experiences fell short. some had trouble with water temperature and locating the main switch, leading to confusion and frustrating cold showers. gaps under the main doors let in excess light, which could disrupt sleep. Other small issues include the size of the rooms feeling cramped for some and the shower door needing resealing to avoid water pooling issue. little quirks detracted from an otherwise enjoyable experience.

I loved how the huge bed in my room felt after a long day at the Yorkshire show, and the shower was amazing! I spent some quality time in the garden area and enjoyed a nice spot to unwind. Only downside was that we couldn’t grab a drink later at the pub since it was closed, but overall a lovely stay! 🍻
